Dont know where the fault lies

Google Drive works okay as a standalone app but I am very unhappy with how it works in the Files app from Apple. I always see an error when I use Pages and try to create a new document in a Google drive folder. When I restart Pages and navigate to the same folder, the file will actually be there Just today I had an incomplete listing of folders in the Files app and there is no way to force a refresh of the folders listing. I hope that Google and Apple work things out.
