Google docs wont stop making copies

I pressed copy document once thinking that it would make one extra copy but it makes over 5 copies every 10 seconds. I spend my whole day on the app trying to delete all the copies that its made. The space in my drive is so full because of all the documents. Is it a glitch or something? PLEASE FIND AN UPDATE TO STOP THIS. i love google docs and google drive for organizing all of my things but this stupid glitch is making copies of documents non stop. Every time im on the app it just keeps on making copies of my documents and i cant stop it. Very dissatisfied
