Very slow on iPhone

I love Google and Google Drive. I use it for everything, I own a chromebook. But this app barely works on an iPhone. Photos rarely manage to load over data. If you want to even look at docs and sheets you have to have those separate apps installed. The whole thing is insanely slow. Im pretty disappointed in this app and try to use it as little as possible.
